Introduction

     Hello world and welcome to The Nurse Man Dan Show, where the host Nurse Man Dan discusses issues related to healthcare in the United States and across the world.  As a registered nurse for many years with experience in the Emergency Room, Operating Rooms, as well as Home Health Nursing he puts his spin on healthcare and medicine (mainly focused on the United States Healthcare System) and why he believes it is failing us all.  

     This is not a politically correct show so easily offended beware, there are no safe spaces here.  Nurse Man Dan (NurseMD) believes that the healthcare system is currently immoral, corrupt, failing everyone, encourages bad behavior, and is set up to fail from someone who can see what healthcare in this country has become..

     Medical Physicians used to make house calls, they would know the names of the kids and dog.  Flash forward to today and you have average doctor visits in the US lasting 7 minutes.  We have drive up doctor's appointments, we have extensive wait times to be seen by primary care physicians and no one is getting any better.  How is it that in the United States in 2022 that we have some of the best medical care and technology available, but no one is any healthier?  People are living longer, but that time spent living means stuck in a hospital bed at home with bed sores while you soil yourself.
